This role reports to the Head of Digital Products.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME AT 86 400

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for building, launching and managing end to end digital product experiences that deliver on 86 400s strategic priorities and outcomes. To achieve this you will prioritise and execute new initiatives that align to the strategy and combines the needs of technology, design, product, operations, legal, risk and compliance.

Over the next 6-9 months, this role will focus on our mobile app. After that time, you may also work across our Internet Banking channel
Support the Head of Digital Products to define the digital products roadmap based on the 86 400 strategy, and our brand and product propositions
Deliver market leading experiences that supports 86 400 brand positioning and growth aspirations – you’ll have end to end accountability from feature inception and concept origination through to requirements definition, supporting the team to deliver and test.
You’ll also ensure that business readiness activities are completed, from process design, staff communications and customer communications/marketing opportunities are identified and leveraged.
Lead 86 400s service proposition through the day to day delivery of great, reliable and consistent experiences delivering market leading advocacy
Support roadmap prioritisation aligning delivery teams and design resources
Ensure features are ready for development and can be executed to time, cost, quality and strategy
Ensure all legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks are met
Lead the delivery of changes to customers working closely with product, marketing and tech, ensuring consistent delivery of customer value.
Support day to day digital product operations including managing complaints feedback and incidents
Leverage qual, quant, customer data and expertise opinion to make timely decisions
Use a strong understanding of fintech and digital trends to inform decision making and generate new ideas that truly different 86 400
Mentor other team members

WHAT MAKES YOU TICK

You’ve have solid experience as a Product Manager and have some real wins under your belt; you like being accountable for results.
Ideally you’ve got experience working in digital financial services
You have experience managing a product roadmap, and adapting to change
You can think strategically, but you still love to get into the detail, write requirements and work with design and engineering to deliver features
You have a deep understanding of the customer and understand customer success equals 86 400 success
You can effectively manage change, and assess the impact of change on requirements and impact on delivery
Your enjoy scanning the market, customer feedback and working with others on new ideas that have the potential to change the banking landscape
You are comfortable with uncertainty and can manage conflicting priorities quickly and effectively
You’re forward thinking and can identify opportunities, and love to build these into your roadmaps
You can easily adapt to a changing environment, and maintain a high level of personal resiliency
