We’re looking for a Product Manager with experience developing and managing a product line. You’ll be involved with supporting product planning, analysis and release programs with a primary focus on alignment and implementation of an individual product strategy with the company’s long term business unit goals. You’ll also work externally with customers, sales teams and partners to enable them to build and execute the future roadmap and strategy for the product
Job Description
This role of Senior Product Manager is a global role for the Citrix Workspace Platform in Cambridge fully responsible for the end to end product from business and technical perspective with the goal of best in class Workspace platform, driving cloud transition with high value, scalable and reliable platform.
Citrix Workspace delivers the end user experience and security to all Citrix products and cloud services to millions of users, over 400,000 customers, on all the different endpoints across desktop, mobile and web platforms.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
Manage implementation for a defined subset or portion of end-to-end product strategies, including the defined company Product Process and lifecycles, and clearly communicate to stakeholders throughout the Product Group organization.
Drive the SLA for uptime and performance, cloud adoption and enable new business capabilities as a end user facing cloud platform
Enable the customer base, sales and partners with product roadmap & strategy, escalations and customer elevated issues
Conduct market validation activities as directed, such as customer prospect interviews and market analysis as part of new product or feature planning.
Validate product plans against research results and assist making informed recommendations regarding roadmap to Sr. management.
Drive the product requirements process while making recommendations regarding product requirements and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to validate priorities for technology, features, product direction and strategy.
Manage focused market and customer research regarding product acceptance, usage and success and integrate results directly into the product planning activities.
Develop a deep understanding of the competitive market landscape and identify key areas of competitive difference in assigned areas.
Become the product expert within the organization for an assigned product line
Should have excellent communication skills and ability to demo and present to the large audience
Should be hands on with the products in order to demo and in some cases setup the environment
Should be user experience focused and have design thinking mindset
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Expertise in cloud based product strategy and execution on different platforms
Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and services on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
Should have driven the product roadmap for the end user applications with large user base having 4+ app rating
Should have good understanding of the cloud computing concepts and experience in this domain
Experience with planning and management of product life cycle, agile development, and good to have practiced SAFE in the past
Experience in Microsoft technologies including Azure, Office 365 and Windows is a plus
Experience documenting research findings, market analysis and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience presenting to wide ranging audiences, including internal stakeholders, Webinars, trainings, and customer visits.
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
Good command over English language
Team player and ability to work with teams across different region and culture. Great execution skills and technical knowledge.
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in business and/or technology-related field(s), preferred to have MBA.
Proven experience in Product Management, Engineering or Product Marketing.
Experience with management of Product Launches.
Contribution to product collateral and white papers, able to present technical information to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
Good understanding of different operating systems, devices.
Should have good understanding of product design and creative thinking
