Introduction:
Working in close partnership with the business, provide financial support to drive business decisions.Interpret and explain performance within the business on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis.Work alongside the UK team in respect of Forecasting, Performance & Risk Reporting and Analysis.Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues. Develop dashboards using multiple tools from SAP
What will you be doing?
To maintain/ enhance BUK forecasting, Risk and Internal & external reportingResponsible for running the BUK forecasting cycles starting from communications to Group submissions end to end from ChennaiTo have wide range of experience of the varied techniques and tools being used throughout the team- SAP, Essbase, Smartview, SAP analytics cloud, Alteryx etc.To execute basic financial analysis which can formulate the base story tellingTo support month close activities from BUK forecast control perspective and Monitor actual performance against target and provide understanding for variancesTo deliver high quality daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly key performance reports (ManCo, Board Papers, WFU, Client reporting, Margin analysis etc.)for the BUK finance leadership teamBe proactive in identifying and implementing process improvement and ensuring a strong control environmentEnsuring accurate and timely delivery of the required regular processes and procedures as documented and agreed with the BUK Managing Director/Director of BP&A/BUK CFOCollaboration across BUK Finance – share best practice, influence process improvements and participate in cross finance initiativesTake ownership of own development, participating actively in one to ones, responding to feedback and identifying learning opportunities in the workplace
What we’re looking for:
Knowledge on Funds Transfer pricing, business performance and analyticsExcellent communication skills in both formal and informal settings & ability to interact globally.Experience of project execution in area of operational improvement & fiancé system migrationSystems & Application: Proficient in SQL, MS applications, especially MS Office – must be proficient in Excel, Essbase, SAP products or any other ERPProcess skills and critical thinking: ability to look at end to end processes, identify issues, root-causes and proactively implement improvement initiative.Proficient MI analytical skills. Ability to drill down to details but also able to synthesize high level drivers and key messages for management updates.Graduates (B.Com), Postgraduates (M.Com), Qualified Chartered Accountant/MBA, CA Inter., CMA Inter, CS Inter. with relevant experience

Skills that will help you in the role:
Process control focused. Ability to identify key risks and controls in an accounting processing & reporting workflow.Ability to understand client requirements and clarify ambiguitiesClient-focused. Ability to work with clients in order to prioritise and balance flexible support vs SLA deliverables.Working knowledge of implementing any finance related system & dashboard tool like Tableau/SAC/Qlik sense will be added advantagePositive attitude and energy towards challengesAbility to team work and collaborate with cross functional/regional teams in a virtual environment.CIMA / CFA / ACCA /CA / MBA (Finance) with relevant experience
