Job Description (high level)

Experience in patching multiple Linux platforms Like RedHat, Oracle Enterprise Linux, SuSe, Ubuntu and Amazon Linux 2.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Upgrade and configure system software that supports infrastructure applications.
Perform patching with kickstart using automation scripts.
Able to setup satellite servers and troubleshoot repository related issues
Experience in administering, installing missing packages on customer request and hands on experience on ticketing tools like ServiceNow is very much required.
Implementing, Scheduling, daily operation of BigFix, may require to perform Big Fix administration tasks
Assist, create and document a patch management strategy, along with perform patch management activities
Develop metrics of compliance, and reports for workflows
Prepare for upcoming systems audit
Mitigation/remediation of fix actions
End Point Analysis for risk and security assessment
Remediation through the Big Fix tool
May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users
Maintains current and knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Provide technical documentation on the BigFix instance that you will be supporting and delivering on Participates in special projects as assigned
Experience with performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, including performing basic troubleshooting, installation, or configuration, monitoring system performance or availability, and performing security upgrades
Strong organization and communications skills; must clearly communicate technical issues and resolutions to team, customers, and management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Must be able to work independently and as part of a project team.
Relevance language in BigFix
Create Action script based on request from client
Create packages and deploy with exit code

Contribute to produce, and maintain processes, procedures, operational and architectural documentation
Change Control – Ensure compliance with Processes and adherence to standards and documentation
Assist in training new staff in technical processes and procedures
Work with GTS leadership and applications teams in reviewing new documentation

Work shift Timings: Rotational
Good to have SCCM or BigFix certified. All round experience of infrastructure areas like Activity Directory, SCCM etc.,
