We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to produce and implement functional software solutions. You will be expected to introduce new and promising technologies to build an efficient product. You will work to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You will be required to supervise and assist in creating infra and application architecture and help your peers implement the same. You should have excellent organisation and problem-solving skills. Should have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies.
Your goal will be to develop high-quality software aligned with user needs and business goals.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality high level software and infrastructure design and architecture
Having the entire application architecture in mind.
Knowledge of various architecture patterns to simplify the scaling challenges.
Determine best practices and technical requirements for software architecture
Define and Document Architecture decisions and maintain the Architecture Decision records.
Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve products
Infrastructure review and quality assurance
Ensure all architecture covers security of the infrastructure and applications.
develop, update, and advocate for the technical direction of a product or part of an application; to management.
encourage healthy debate between team members and facilitate the decision-making process;
Oversight and approval of all final programs and products before formal launch
Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching best practices in coding and architecture.
Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information
Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
Qualifications: B.tech, M.tech, MCA and MSc
Relevant Experience: 7+ years of appropriate engineering experience coding in Python/Golang
Desired Skills & Characteristics:
5-7 years of experience designing and implementing software applications
Professional programs certification in architecture and DevOps is strongly recommended.
Experience working on large-scale software projects
Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open source technologies
Prior Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including python, golang and more
Outstanding collaboration and communication skill are essential
Experience designing secure software systems based upon industry-specific specifications
In-depth knowledge of Architecture design patterns.
Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks
Knowledge of selected programming languages – Python, Go and Framework – Django/Gin.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
Exposure to JIRA, Docker, Networks, Azure, BlobStorage, Auth0, OpenAuth, GIS Tools
Experience with Service Mesh (Istio), Service discovery (Consul) a benefit.
