The Role Responsibilities
Brief Description:
The Analyst, Data Development will be responsible for supporting, governing, and maintaining multiple Tools environments in Enterprise Technology Data Analytical space with the mandatory skill sets in Tableau, Power BI and DevOPS. This role will report on the Head of BI Reporting COE, this role will be responsible for driving and working on strategies across the bank.
In this role, the individual must have a thorough understanding of on architecture of Tableau and PowerBI product suite, administration policies, techniques and methodologies. This is a multitasking role and the individual is expected to support multiple BI BOW and operations teams as well as a large and diverse business user community. This role will report into the Head of BI Reporting.
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
Serve as a senior delivery manager for Tableau and PowerBI. Work with Tableau, Microsoft support to resolve issues requiring vendor assistance.
Govern these environments and continuously optimize the environment via governing settings and other mechanisms.
Have knowledge to enhance and onboard new capabilities in Tableau and PowerBI
Proactively monitor and maintain the stability of the environment by leveraging monitoring tools, Enterprise Reports, and system monitoring tools
Perform user onboarding , business requirement collections, Conduct POC and convincing business team to onboard applications with these available tools . Need to understand and manage licensing requirements, capacity planning and forecasting
Develop automated mechanisms and configuration changes across the various environments
Support development teams for package, object and code migrations across environments
Perform package review before migration to make sure it follows the established standards and best practices. Proactively detect any potential issues the package might cause
Deploy and troubleshoot User applications, User Queries, Dashboard and provide best practises and performance management documentation
Develop and maintain technical documentation for environment configuration, development and administration guidelines/standards, support issues and maintenance
Maintain onboarding documents and provide onboarding/coaching for new BI employees and contractors
Provide regular status reports to management
Serve as a Lead covering Tableau and PowerBI Architecture, Use Cases Mapping, Converting User cases into projects and suggesting Technology Roadmap to Director

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills /Abilities and Knowledge
Proficient in Tableau & PowerBI as well Having Scripting Skills on Linux and Windows Platform
Experience in designing and implementing business use cases with Tableau and PowerBI
In-depth understanding of Architecture, Components, Drivers, Azure Cloud and Disaster recovery methods
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques such as dimensional modelling, star schemas, SQL language and SQL tuning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and forthright manner with a broad range of technical and non-technical users and stakeholders
Ability to handle multiple senior stakeholders and meet and provide solutions
Ability to prioritize, organize, make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other team members
Proactive and focused on results and success; conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure
Should be a team player and leader, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated and have a positive outlook with the ability to take on difficult initiatives and challenges

Strategy
Collaborating with team members to define roadmap for the current tools
Conducting market research on various BI Tools – Pros and Cons
Performing analysis of competitors’ solution and identifying opportunities.
Keeping updated with technologies and consumer behaviours.
Creating and presenting strategic plans.
Finding solutions for client problems.
Contributing to business development and digital innovation.

Business
Lead and manage Cloud based Tools Request For Proposal(RFP) responses to ensure bank’ objectives for profitability, sustainability, and operational delivery objectives are meet

Processes
Should be well-versed in Financial Institution’ operating model specifical CR process, Infra Delivery and management process, Estimation process, Deviation approval process (if required ), Disaster Recovery methodologies and process , Security Vulnerability assessment process for Tools
Should be managing Vendor’ Proposal Review, SOW, Engagement Request, Invoices management, Delivery management

People and Talent
Should be a team player and able to lead the team
Focus on results and solutions for longer period in-terms of relationship building, soft skills
Ability to present technical solution in term of business understandable “simple” words with diagrams

Risk Management
Should have the experience in identifying and mitigation risks in terms of BI Tools, risk registration process and mitigation process

Governance
Ability to Forecast upcoming requirements & demands, planning, defining and building process for governing flawless BAU & Automation, Ensuring Data Security and Integrity.
