Roles & Responsibilities:
Create a fun-loving, inclusive, dedicated, and world-class team that continuously pushes the boundary of highly scalable microservices, state of the art distributed systems, and engineering excellence. Manage and lead team to deliver high-performance and low latency services that are adaptable to multifaceted business needs, influence ideation & unique problem solving
Well versed in emerging industry technologies and trends, and the ability to channel that knowledge to the team and use it to influence product direction.
Grow and nurture the skills and talent in the organization. Manage People Resource processes related to objectives definitions, regular check-in, assessment and compensation
Required Skills & Expertise:
Well versed with SOA principle, cloud-based services architecture, design patterns and frameworks
Experience in scaling and leading teams building solution with cloud technologies
Extensive experience in following web technologies: Java, Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, Web Services, REST, JS, JQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, Spring Boot, JUnit, Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus
Good exposure to development and build tools: Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins, Maven, ANT, Bazel
Strong ability to partner across organizations and divisions and presents an opportunity to define and contribute to solving some of the most difficult problems
Ability to build consensus & drive decisions in ambiguous scenarios
Excellent work ethics and highly motivated
Excellent oral and written communication skills (interpersonal and client-facing)
Ability to manage systems development scope and changes in the context of the business environment.
10+ years of experience in technical roles, solid ship experience across product life cycle.
Minimum 2 years of people management and leadership experience, planning, designing, implementing, and delivering large projects spanning multiple engineers.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
