Your Role and Responsibilities
As a financial controller you will be responsible for the overall supervision and management of the Finance and Accounting deliverables. You will need to demonstrate solid experience in the maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes. The individual has to exhibit strong leadership qualities and needs to have business acumen to ensure every squad lead on the team has a deliverable checklist so that deliverables are submitted on time as per defined SLA. The individual would put a deliverable quality check process in place so that all deliverables are validated as accurate before they are submitted. Finally the person in charge would be responsible for reviewing the control environment and making changes needed to minimize any operational key controls or SOX controls failures.

Operational Responsibilities:
Strengthen processes and ensure SLAs are met consistently
Improve managerial/supervisory vigilance (checklists, quality checks, reviews etc)
Review and sign off financial transactions and financial reporting
Understanding data and preforming analysis to add value (identify potential issues, report & resolve)
Ensure compliance with well documented policies and procedure
Execute SOX and Operational controls to pass Client Controls tests
Key Attributes :
Well-organized with ability to prioritize
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent Stakeholder management : Internal & External
Attention to detail, service-oriented & client centric with problem- solving ability

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

CA with minimum 20 years’ experience, of which at-least 2-4 years in similar role
Proven experience in handling across all aspects of Finance and Accounts-Service Delivery
Experience to continuously look for opportunities to improve metrics and the validation of the data
Proven analytical and numerical ability
Validated presentation and interpersonal skills with flexibility in work hours
ERP Exposure: SAP and Oracle

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Strategic thought leadership in designing future state delivery and strategies for attaining them
Understands future employee, Finance and accounting BPO trends and applies this understanding to develop solutions to create a high-performance culture
You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to excel in service delivery
Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
