Job Description : Team Leader – Quality Assurance (QA) / Line Control testing team – Transfer Agency Operations
A role on the Quality Assurance (QA) / Line Control team will provide exposure to Fund Services Operations and involvement in quality assurance processes, which are aimed at mitigating the risk of BAU process through daily additional independent review & validation. The role will be part of the Quality Assurance/Line Control Team and will be responsible for the following:

Delivers daily testing activities to process for Transfer Agency as per agreed testing plans
Develops and reviews Test Strategy / Plan – allocate and monitor work to team members
Design/Develop test scripts (manual and automated as the case may be) for the applications assigned for testing
Participating in QA reviews from end to end, including developing testing strategies, executing testing and analyzing results
Communicating findings to management and obtaining corresponding action plans to facilitate timely escalation and resolution
Proactively anticipate blockers and risks to process – and contribute to design and execute plans to mitigate the issues.
Work closely with operations subject matter experts, business analysts, project manager and other stakeholders
Lead daily/weekly controls calls to monitor process health
Work with system owners to ensure test environments and test data are in the state required for testing.
Participating in QA governance forums and meeting regularly with Risk/Controls partners
Track the status of action plans and their remediation by process owners
Stay current with evolving industry and regulatory changes, analyzing their impact to business objectives, processes, and compliance
Management of defects and identification of process improvement areas in line with the process framework
Mentor and coach larger team members for a continuous learning, improvement and controls culture
Candidate requirements:

Qualification :-
8-10 years of work experience within Audit, Controls or Risk management role
Domain knowledge of Transfer Agency with desirable experience in Fund Accounting (Mutual/Pension fund/Hedge Funds), Capital Markets, Investment banking, Custody operations, and related areas.
Prior experience of establishing/delivering testing team in the areas of Transfer Agency, Fund accounting, Alternative Investments and Capital markets will be an advantage
Knowledge of Transfer Agency platforms will be highly advantageous
Strong analytical skills through experience with data analytics or similar processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to quickly understand complex subject matter and demonstrate critical thinking
Ability to challenge the status quo while maintaining relationships
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of European regulations and/or financial services and related products a plus
Programing skills and Tableau experience a plus.
