SAP Procurement – Senior UX Researcher
SUMMARY
As SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass. To strengthen further our team, we are looking for a senior UX researcher.
THE ROLESupport the design efforts of SAP Ariba products in concert with our overall vision and strategy.Conduct design research, synthesize data & findings.Have a good understanding and experience with Quantitative methods.Coordinate and lead research efforts within our customer-centric research program.Engage with end users, customers and the sales team to better understand the needs and
workflows of the end users, and collaborate on concepts for new functionality.
Deliver insights into human behaviour in the workplace.Demonstrate experience working with complex user flows, configurable and data-driven products.Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to identify and prioritise research goals.Participate in a beginning to end process model to deliver research insights and influence product
design.
Plan and lead workshops to drive understanding and innovation during product ideation cycles.Work closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, Content Writers and Developers to
provide our customers with fresh, friendly, and simple user experiences no matter their function or
role within the application.
Take responsibility for usability testing and providing Product Design sign off for releases.Be adaptable to challenges and flexible with change.Communicate and collaborate with colleagues across all levels, teams, location and willing to
take ownership.
Be someone that the team could rely on to guide, support, lead and critique.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of MA/MS in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors,
Human-Computer Interaction or a related field, OR significant industry experience.
7+ years of experience working as Product Researcher or UX researcher – preferably in a SaaS
or consumer app company, conducting a range of research methods.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in modern digital product research.Mobile iOS and/or Android experience is a plus.Experience in research proposals at the front-end; analysis and direction at completion.Self-motivated fast learner with exceptional follow-through while operating with a sense of urgency.Good storytelling skills.Experience working in a large & geographically dispersed product-driven environment, showcasing excellence at cross-disciplinary collaboration and leadership.Previous work history in enterprise software companies ++
