Job Description
CA Systems Tools Engineer Job Description: ýff Understand functional, technical, and business requirements and then turn those requirements into a successful implementation. ýff Strong working knowledge with administration and deployment of CA Spectrum,CAPM, NFA. ýff Experience in integration of Monitoring Tools Gather monitoring requirements, define and configures alert thresholds, and ensure proper notifications for events are being received by appropriate teams to assist various technical teams ýff Ability and willingness to learn new tools Responsibilities. ýff Administration of monitoring Tools – Installation, upgrades Integration, Troubleshooting and administration of Spectrum,CAPM,NFA on UNIX, Windows based hosts ýff Develop dashboards and reports from information collected by the monitoring system, correlate and provide users with a meaningful interpretation of the information Follows up with states agents regarding account issues ýff Work with network and system administration teams to ensure new systems are built and deployed with proper configuration for monitoring ýff Create and maintain monitoring scripts to automate common tasks ýff Create and maintain documentation and procedures ýff Maintain fully redundant and resilient systems infrastructure for all monitoring tools ýff Plan and define complex monitoring requirements and customizations ýff Continuously look at and evaluate the integrity of our CA Tools infrastructure ýff Provide sales and pre-sales support to prospective and existing clients including participating in onsite and remote sales demos ýff Escalation point for monitoring related infrastructure and provisioning issues ýff Continuously meet with Systems Service Desk lead engineers to constantly monitor and improve on alarm console alarm methodology ýff Proactively look for opportunities to streamline the processes and implement process improvements to help the team members effectively execute their tasks ýff Lead troubleshooting and root cause determination efforts and proactively identify opportunities to fix issues ýff Continuously update Provisioning Team documentation related to CA Tools infrastructure and processes Skills- Experience on large customers working environment Experience within a customer support environment. Work Experience in event monitoring tools and network monitoring tools like CA Spectrum,CAPM and NFA Good Knowledge on Perl & Shell scripting Knowledge of MS SQL SERVER Database will be an added advantage
