Position :

Job Description : Enabler and Driver For SysOps & DevOps Infrastructure solutions within the business line in close collaboration with product teams and enable the organization’s roadmap for DevOps transformation.

Areas of Responsibility:

THE key enabler for all development teams with the required Infrastructure for Software Development Life Cycle
Playing the roles of SysOps for DevOps by effectively bridging these two domains.

Role: You Would be:

THE SysOps / DevOps Interface to communicate, coordinate, and integrate local activities with the global Siemens Healthineers organization.
THE SysOps / DevOps Interface for the IT organization – in coordinating and effectively communicating the new Infrastructure requirements along with the Networking measures.
Working closely and continuously with the IT Organization in bringing the necessary improvements in an effective manner.
Completely and Independently managing the Assets within complete CI & CD Infrastructure (VM, VGPU, Physical Machines)
Ensuring constant and pro-active monitoring in infrastructure implementation in order to have minimal downtime and implementing necessary measures and improvements in the system in an organized way.
Developing automated test pipelines to setup test systems for all levels of tests where development teams can plug-in test cases for quality assurance. You would be developing automation, monitoring and logging solutions.
Automating the setup of product packages installation in on-prem deployment infrastructure.
Working in close collaboration with all Scrum teams and you will act as evangelist for adhering to DevOps practices. Drive adoption of tools, processes and practices within teams and setup needed infrastructure for teams.
Creating scripts and tools for managing the infrastructure and task requirements in build/release pipeline.
Driving continuous improvement and necessary measure/s in understanding the build, test, packaging strategy, test tools
Flexible and be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Working in Azure DevOps Server – OnPremise(TFS) Environment and NOT Azure DevOps Services(VSTS)

Experience:

3-9 years of experience in a process-oriented software organization.
Defining and implementing Infrastructure setup for DevOps solutions and working with continuous integration and/or continuous delivery systems.
Experience working with multi-site global teams in an agile environment.
Be an expert in software development life cycle, source code management practices, build and release engineering and tool development.
Experience in applying and adopting agile development processes (e.g., SAFE) and principles in large software projects and organizations.
Strong communication skills and experience in an international team and international environment.
Business fluent English in reading, writing, and speaking.

Education:

Graduate / Postgraduate (preferably a major in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics).

Mandatory Skills Required
Minimum 3+ Years of Experience in
Windows administration : handling Windows Servers, roles, Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP, file server, Share and NTFS permissions, Patch Management
On-premise Virtualization : VMware Esxi & HyperV (Creation of VM, Templates, Clone, Snapshot) and troubleshooting Issues
Handling of Complex On-premise Hybrid Environment with at least 400+ Machines (VM, VGPU, Physical) flavors of OS including latest Server and Client (Windows Server 2022 to Windows 11 ) which also include monitoring (Nagios – Icinga) , Configuring monitoring agents, automated installation and configuration changes.
STRONG Analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills of Cross Domain Issues between Network / OS / Virtual Environments
Scripting and Programming Knowledge (PowerShell, Python, C# .NET) for handling the infrastructure and automation
Capacity Planning of the infrastructure assessing the Demand vs Usage

Minimum 2+ years of experience (Dev-ops) in setting up automated On-Premise Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automated test pipelines (from unit over system to NFR tests) for continuous software quality assurance.
Understanding and Enabling of CI & CD pipelines with associated infrastructure
TFS & GIT Version Control
Basics of Development Cycle
Complete Knowledge on TFVC usage (check-in, check-out, shelveset, Branching , merging, Rollback Etc..)
Handling of On-Premise TFS Environment
Build Agent – Installation, Configuration, Managing Demands to specific the agent to a specific Pipeline
Test Controller (2013 / 2017) and Test Agents – Installation, Configuration and understanding of the configuration files
Azure DevOps On-Premise / TFS : Build Pipeline and Release Pipeline
Creation, Modification and understanding of the different options / Stages / Tasks available
Welcome / Good To Have

Basic Knowledge on Linux, Unix and other operating systems.
Good experience and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) programming skills (e.g., Terraform) to setup On-Prem infrastructure.
Container and Orchestration technologies: Docker , Kubernetes
Experience with Artifactory and Azure Artifacts: Package Management system: NuGet, npm, Maven, Python and feeds
Presentation Skills to be able to demonstrate and train the team
