We are seeking an Accountant for our client, a financial institution based in Clackamas, OR. This is a direct hire, onsite position that includes amazing benefits like Medical, Vision, and PTO!
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Accountant is responsible for ensuring our client’s financial records and reports are accurate, reliable, and in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities for an Accountant include reconciling and monitoring activity in the general ledger, month-end general ledger processing, assisting with financial reports, maintenance of the accounting system, and other special projects as needed. Other duties consist of working on the quarterly Call Report filings, preparing annual tax filings on Form 990, assisting with complex accounting, the application of GAAP, and assisting our client’s new financial reporting and budget processes.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
1-5+ years of experience performing intermediate-level accounting functions, preferable in a financial institution accounting department
Able to interpret and apply general accepted accounting principles and has a comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting services
Able to analyze accounting sub-systems and application data to be reconciled and reported in the general ledger accounting records
Able to build and maintain financial reporting, accounting support, and adhoc models using MS Excel
Able to use advanced quantitative and analytical techniques in problem solving and planning situations
Location: onsite in Clackamas, OR
Hours: M-F 8a-5p
Pay: $64-90k/year
Vaccine Requirements: Must be fully vaccinated
