Job Description : Our client is a leading global company in their industry, private equity backed and located near Milwaukee, WI. In 2021 they successfully completed an acquisition and are on target to have significant growth in the next 3 years.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the financial ledger for the company’s NA businesses (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow). Will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of internal controls that meet internal and external requirements. Ensures the accurate and timely implementation of new accounting processes and pronouncements, in conjunction with direction from the Corporate Controller, at the NA businesses. Will partner with VP Finance, Plant Controllers, and general managers at each NA location regarding costing and operational analysis to facilitate process improvement, KPI monitoring and cost savings.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), major field Accounting.
CPA a plus but not required.
Two years of experience in the field of accounting or related experience preferred, with experience in a manufacturing or public accounting setting a plus.
Proven track record of progressive financial management support experience and professional integrity, with an ability to responsibly handle confidential business information.
Excellent computer software skills including Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel, with advanced Excel capabilities.
Working experience with a manufacturing ERP system and a financial consolidations system is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Critical thinker who can work independently, with strong problem-solving and project management skills and is comfortable with ambiguity and will proactively seek answers through research and questions.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse work group at all levels of the organization and across countries.
