What we offer
Group Accounting is part of Group Business Finance. Group Business Finance is furthermore responsible for general accounting, business controlling, voyage controlling and technical controlling. Group Business Finance is also responsible for financial systems and processes across the Group, and the internal reporting to the business/divisions.
You will report to the Country Accounting Manager and will be part of a seven-member team.
The tasks of the Accounting Manager Assistant will amongst other consist of:
Accounting of specified countries including deferred tax, depreciation, provisions and cut off procedures
Assisting in the performance of SOX controls
GST compliances and reporting
Periodic reconciliations including bank, vendor, and general ledger
Continuous improvement of business processes
Participation in finance and cross functional projects
Assisting in business audit reviews and statutory audit reviews
Maintaining quality of accounting with timely delivery
Being an active member of the team
Ad-hoc tasks and analysis
To succeed in the job
The ideal candidate is a highly dedicated and business-oriented person. You have a solid educational background as for example a Chartered Accountant. CA fresher will be welcome. If you have thorough knowledge on GST compliances, it would be considered an advantage.
Furthermore, we expect that you have/are:
Excellent knowledge of IFRS / Ind AS / US GAAP
Hands-on experience in accounting and reporting
Worked on standard ERP viz. SAP, MS Dynamics for at least two years
Proven functional leadership capabilities
Self-motivated and proactive with significant drive
Data-driven with strong analytical and numerical skills
Excellent communication skills both in spoken and written English
