Assistant Manager—Strategic Marketing, ESG
We are looking for a passionate marketer with a strong understanding of professional services. A team player and a strategic thinker who can build relationships with US-based Strategic Marketers (SMs) and build campaigns that align to business goals. A self-starter who can weigh-in on creating compelling content and recommend an optimum channel mix to activate our campaigns in the marketplace to drive return on investment (ROI).
An individual who can potentially groom junior marketers and lead by example to drive high-performance from peers.
Roles and responsibilities
Demonstrate strong understanding of marketing roles in a professional services firm marketing communications, campaigns, operations, and effectiveness
Partner with the US-based Strategic Marketers and the business to translate business and industry goals into marketing goals
Plan and design impactful marketing campaigns
Engage with the internal agency on campaign execution and help oversee timely and seamless delivery of campaigns
Manage multiple and complex business priorities, flag potential roadblocks or risks proactively to enable seamless execution
Create, review or curate compelling content for multiple channels; coordinate risk reviews of the content created by external writers or the in-house agency
Collaborate with the agency and other Design teams to develop compelling marketing assets, sales enablement toolkits, and creatives that are brand compliant
Lead by example—adopt innovative approaches and new tools, and proactively share best practices
Ensure team’s adherence to processes, protocols, and tools for developing deliverables
Make connections in a highly matrixed environment, with an eye on integration to cross promote content and offerings across relevant industries, businesses and strategic growth offerings
Analyze and present campaign performance data in intuitive graphical formats and interesting frameworks to develop campaign impact reports for marketing leaders and the practice
Help define/revisit campaign KPIs based on industry benchmarks and past campaign performance
Qualifications and experience
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, channel strategy, social media promotion and measuring ROI
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Project Management software); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce.com or Analytical tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is a plus
Knowledge of latest business trends such as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs, Climate Change, Sustainability, Cyber, Cloud, etc., would be a plus
Master’s degree ideally with a focus in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field
