We deliver on a mission of enabling better care for patients across the continuum, and our software solutions help healthcare professionals collaborate on shared patients across the spectrum of care.Summary:Bamboo Health is seeking a Billing Staff Accountant, working alongside Revenue Accountants and Staff Accountants providing contributions to our department’s operational success as well as our cyclical closing and reporting cycles. You will be responsible for managing and improving internal collections processes while playing a key role in establishing a control environment that will ensure the accuracy of the company’s financial statements. An ideal candidate will be an accountant that is flexible and adaptable when working in a fast-paced and rapidly-evolving environment, organized and detail-oriented, interested in learning and finding ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting team, and adept at working both independently and collaboratively.What You’ll Do:Lead the accounts receivable process, including collections, producing aging reports, cash applications, and monthly working capital reportingCreating invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to a customerMonitor payment status of all outstanding invoicesContact customers with delinquent accountsPerform complex account reconciliations in support of month- and year-end closeAssist Revenue and Billing Manager with month- and year-end close responsibilities, including assisting with the annual external auditHelp develop processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and enhance financial controlsOther accounting-related value-add responsibilities as assignedWhat Success Looks Like…In 3 months…Substantially performing your day-to-day activities while asking meaningful questionsBeing inquisitive and learning as much as you can about your new roleFamiliarized with the processes and tools required to perform your job responsibilities effectivelyIn 6 months…Fully up to speed with your responsibilitiesAble to provide meaningful analysis of our A/RInvestigating unusual items and able to find the answersDeeply involved in the close process and comfortable operating in NetSuite and SaaSOpticsIn 12 months…Identifying inefficiencies in our processes and recommending changesActively searching and acting on areas of improvement and opportunities to mitigate financial risksYou are a critical member of the overall Finance team, with the capacity to take on more responsibilities as you and the company growsWhat You Need:A mission-driven focus with a passion for spearheading change in complex healthcare environments, awareness of payer/provider reimbursement models, and interoperability/healthcare tech trends1-2 years of progressive accounting experience with basic understanding of US GAAP. Recent graduates with B.S.
