Job Description : My client is a leading designer, marketer and wholesaler of consumer packaged goods. The Company sells its products to over 500 customers in the U.S. and Canada across the grocery, mass, specialty, dollar, off-price, club and ecommerce channels. They source from a network of factories primarily in Asia and have made four acquisitions in the last five years and growth through continued acquisitions remains a focus.They seek a hands on and willing to roll up their sleeves Controller with strong communication skills and an understanding of retail, distribution and manufacturing industries. The Controller will support the ongoing transformation of the accounting team to become a more value-added partner to the Executive Committee as strategic, operational and acquisition related decisions are made. This position reports to the CFO and is located in Rancho Cucamonga. The position will be hybrid working from home twice a week.The Controller will be a key member of the Finance leadership team and will be responsible for accounting, consolidation, revenue operations, payroll, commissions, accounts payable and inventory accounting, as well as the underlying systems that cause the Company to process and to report, both, more efficiently and more effectively.This position requires solid knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting and internal controls.
