Job Description

Experience : 15+ Years
Technical /Professional Experience:
Chartered Accountant / Cost & Works Accountant preferably with MBA-Finance
Should have led cross-functional teams on at least 4 global multi-entity programs (i.e. global template development and rollouts) in SAP Financials – SAP FI & CO (emphasis on SAP FI)
Extensive experience in all aspects of SAP Financial Accounting including Credit Management, New Asset Accounting, Parallel Ledgers & Document Splitting, Bank Communications Management, etc.
Should have been a Solution architect / Subject matter expert in the area of SAP-FICO
Should have experience in S/4HANA implementations (at least 2 Implementations)
Should have experience in working with distributed landscape with centralized Financial Accounting system
Should have exposure to Financial Supply-chain topics such as Treasury and Cash Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Should have minimum three years of Domain experience in the capacity of Finance Lead for a manufacturing company with responsibilities related to Financials closing, Audit handling and Tax handling.
Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert (SME) role is a multi-dimensional one including but not restricted to:
Mentoring, guiding, supporting and directing associates
Architecting and solution design
Concept & Blueprint Creation
Quality reviews from a content perspective for all Logistics modules
Training and Knowledge sharing
Study and concept projects
Troubleshooting
Spot consulting
Technical sales (i.e. using technical expertise in presales)
The SME for SAP Financials will be expected to provide expert-level consulting (e.g. solution design) relating to the entire array of Financials modules and components (i.e. FI, CO, FSCM, etc.) as well as to provide process/business consulting on the domain areas related to these modules and components. Will be expected to provide expert-level consulting (e.g. solution design) relating to integration with SD, MM and PP
The SME will be expected to multitask, work on multiple projects running parallel to each other and to fulfill a mix of technical and managerial responsibilities. In short, ability to cope, flexibility and adaptability are key to this role.
