The Team
The Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Infrastructure Services team is focused on standardizing and optimizing infrastructure across CIB and to ensure that new technologies are adopted in support of application strategies.
In order to deliver against these objectives there is a requirement for an integrated software solution to manage the end to end lifecycle of infrastructure including inventory management, delivery, operations, finance and billing. As such there is a need for an experienced global team of data scientists and technologists, focused on developing and deploying analytical solutions in support of the objective
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Python Developer to join a global Management Reporting & Analytics organization, serving as an expert in data transformation and modeling to support the delivery of essential analytics and reporting capabilities for the firm. You will be responsible for taking the business data and information available from multiple sources and translating that data into significant, relevant intelligence that can be used by various user groups including senior leadership, turning data into knowledge to help us make better decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Detailed analytical review of infrastructure datasets to facilitate pro-active efficiency and risk-reduction recommendations for technology leads
Summarize findings from analytical projects into presentations for senior executives
Analysis of estate management processes to provide streamlined and optimised recommendations

Skills required

Programming experience in Python and experience in REACT,Java will be a Plus.
Working with and combining large datasets from multiple sources
Transforming and merging of large datasets
Ability to design and automate processes and data collection tools
Experience of working with databases using SQL
A passion for software engineering quality, Agile delivery and continuous improvement.
Proven industrial experience in developing enterprise platforms leveraging Python, Oracle / SQL Server, Public/Private Cloud and/or UI technologies
Knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Familiar with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and SDLC tools such as Jenkins, Git, JIRA.
Experience with Test Driven Development in building scalable and flexible software frameworks, platforms and API’s
Demonstrable skills to modernize application and migrate to cloud. in AWS or Google Cloud.

Desirable Skills

Finance industry experience would be desirable
Familiarity with BI analytical toolsets (Qlik / Tableau)
Experience with working with Big Data solutions
Control-M scheduling
Experience with building APIs via Django
