Job Description : Rotational Molding Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Controller. This is a dynamic role that will work closely with the President and Operations team to provide accurate management and performance data that will positively move the company forward.This primary responsibility of this position is to manage and provide guidance for the site on payables, receivables, inventory, and cost. This position will work closely with our corporate finance team and provide management & support at the site level to ensure accurate and timely cut-offs for all financial periods. This position is also responsible for identifying cost variances, determining root cause analysis, and driving back corrective actions and process improvements through to the production floor.Primary Job Duties: Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policiesImprove existing processes and help create new processes as needed throughout the businessImplement and monitor inventory control and valuation proceduresMonitor inventory movements and position to ensure accuracyPerform analysis, manage projects and other duties as neededWork closely with accounts payable, accounts receivable, operations & human resources to optimize financial performanceServe as the primary contact on all financial & office matters.Work with team members across departments to ensure financial data is reported accuratelyOther related duties and responsibilities as assignedSkills/Experience: Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and WordExperience in manufacturing preferredExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentEducation Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMinimum of 7 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance with a history of progressive financial responsibility in the manufacturing industry.MBA or CPA certification preferred.Keywords: Accounting, Controller, CPA, Manufacturing, FinanceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Accounting: 7 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
