The person who fills this role will be the central office contact for all accounting activities related to their assigned portfolio.. Their duties will include preparing journal entries, analyzing financial statements, preparing management reports and reconciling general ledger accounts on a monthly basis. This role will also assist in the annual planning cycle, including budget preparation and interim projections for assigned communities. Additional duties may include portfolio pricing analysis and participation in continuous improvement projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3-5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree in accounting with 1-3 years of experience
CPA license, or plans to work toward licensure in the near future, preferred
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Prior exposure to computerized accounting software
Excellent time-management skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize among multiple and/or competing tasks
An above-average level of attention to detail and accuracy
