Job Description : About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer. This role is of a team member working in the Information & Cyber Security within Identity and Access Management team, who has good understanding of security applications. Responds to customer requests within stated guidelines, research and recommend known technical and functional solutions to customers, develop work around and in some cases solutions for resolution. Participates in Application Support initiatives and all other assigned projects. Working closely with business lines & infrastructure teams, this role directly contributes to the effort to identify, track, and remediate any issues related to applications like Enterprise BreakGlass PTA Windows.

In this role, you will:Participates in the evaluation, development, and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments.

Participates in the evaluation, development, testing and implementation of emerging data access control technologies, information systems security issues, safeguards and techniques.

Provides security consulting and project management services on complex issues related to data access, integrity, confidentiality and business continuity.

Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.

Maintains an awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security.

May participate in security investigations. May provide guidance to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications, International:
Experience in Information Security Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationA Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or other related discipline or equivalent experience

5+ years of information security experience or experience in working with information security products/platforms

Experience supporting and troubleshooting agent based security technology within a large scale deployment.

Platform familiarization with Microsoft Windows

3+ years of SQL development experience

Knowledge and work experience with the Change Management process and tools

Familiarization with any of the following database platforms: MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL.

Demonstrate the ability to provide written and verbal communications to management to address real time operational and product issues as they arise.

Candidate should possess knowledge of application security and secure coding practices

E xceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Advanced problem solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems

Exemplary people skills are a must.
Desired Qualifications:CISSP or any security certification is a plus

Fluent in scripting or querying languages utilizing WMI, SQL, VB, or Python

Platform familiarization with UNIX, LINUX

Familiarization with the following Network Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, NDM, SSL

Knowledge of the SDLC Lifecycle
