Roles Overview
Participate in full software development lifecycle and write code that is maintainable, clear, and concise.
Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable platformHands on experience on coding and troubleshootingNot only provide technical and architectural leadership, but coach and mentor team members and enable them to achieve a high level of successAbility to collaborate with other internal technology teams to coordinate and deliver software systems.Ability to balance strategic and tactical solutions.Translating Business Requirements into system designs.Strong Knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures.Responsible to do proactive detailed report analysis and Publish findings of analysis to all required stake holdersTake/initiate appropriate corrective action based on the finding with required stake holders/ vendorsIdentify the areas of improvement and take pro-active approach to address the identified areas by means of automation / process modifications / documentation / trainingResponsible to ensure the basic hygiene of NOC tools echo system.
Technical Responsibilities
Participate in Design/Architecture and solutioning discussions. Have a say in what eventually gets implementedImplement (design, code, test and deploy) mobile app features on the platformContribute to everything from low-level networking and parsing to application logic to UI implementationProvide feedback into product designOptimize mobile applications on the Android platform.Develop prototypes quickly
Functional
Hands on experience developing applications in Android App Development from Develop, Build, Test to Deploy automated.
Should have Understanding and have used the below:
1. MVVM architecture
2. Observable patterns
3. Delegate pattern
Android SDK, Kotlin and Java for Framework developmentUnit, UI and E2E tests for using respective Test frameworks and Mockable.Experience working with automation tools (Jenkins)Understands version control (GIT) and branching strategiesUnderstands BDD / TDD/Performance/Security/Smoke testing
Skills and BackgroundDeep knowledge of Android SDK and platform tools and optimization techniquesShould be comfortable with Kotlin and have extensive knowledge of Android development techniques and practices.MVVM ArchitectureShould be able to write Unit and UI Test (Junit/Espresso/Mockito)
Experience taking a feature from description through implementation to completionMinimum 6 years of hands-on application development experience; 2+ years’ experience leading a team of engineers and managing applications
Strong experience with software design patterns, UI concepts, techniques, frameworks and related toolsExperience working with automation tools (Build/Deployment/test)Experience/Knowledge about modern frameworks, technologiesUnderstands feature togglingExperience in working in an Agile Development EnvironmentUnderstands CI and CD, writes test to ensure CI/CD processes workEntrepreneurial attitude that gets high-quality projects done quicklyEffective in working with strong technical teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
