Job Description : Role Description
The Manager of Performance Insight drives strong performance and accountability in Data & Analytics (D&A) through the shaping of ambitious goals and measurable business outcomes. Areas of focus for this position include: Helps drive the performance framework for Data & Analytics; Providing KPIs and analysis in support of D&A business process improvement programs; Driving D&A Leadership Team accountability for BAU performance and transformation commitments; Managing performance reporting analysts to provide support in creating standardized reports guiding a “single source of truth” for various data domains; Data visualization and dashboarding to ensure clear meaningful presentation of data based on clear design practices and standard visualization tools; Oversight of dashboard quality and performance; and partnership with Technology as the Data Steward for D&A ensuring availability, accuracy, and timeliness of key datasets in Snowflake Enterprise Data Warehouse solution. The role reports into the Head of Performance Reporting & Analytics.
Objective Setting: Annual objectives management, alignment with business priorities, definition of outcomes and success KPIs
Performance Management: Executive Reporting, Performance Framework, Monthly Business Reviews
Business Insight: Leadership Team meeting preparation, facilitation, and action management
Leadership: Builds collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and influences to achieve the right business outcomes. Management of Performance Reporting analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for executive reports ensuring relevancy; accuracy of information; timely distribution
Oversight of Performance Reporting dashboards, facilitation of monthly business reviews, and governance of action items captured during reviews
Tracking delivery of D&A Committed outcomes; success KPIs; headcount plans associated with Business Case investments in D&A
Delivery of monthly performance insights highlighting areas of strong performance and opportunities for improvement
Support strategic and ad-hoc analytics with analytics, baseline data sets, KPI definition, and ongoing measurement for BPI initiatives
Partner with the Product, Sales & Account Management, and Operations leadership teams to provide deep dives and actionable operational insights
Build and manage a team of performance reporting analysts that can work within the broader Performance Reporting & Analytics team to develop key reports, dashboards, and analytics for a variety of use cases in support of D&A growth, culture, resilience, customer, efficiency, and sustainability KPIs
Support operations leaders in producing clear, impactful materials for use with internal staff and the broader organization
Own and drives ad-hoc projects as required

Candidate Profile / Key Skills
Essential
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels
Strong organisation and facilitation skills along with the ability to manage a wide network of stakeholders, and the ability influence and build relationships
Strong data, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency of Business Intelligence tools, preferably PowerBI and Tableau
Proficiency in SQL
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Demonstrated knowledge of Analytical tools and methodology
Innovative thinker with the ability to take a problem statement, gather data and propose new / creative solutions
Understanding of business processes improvement and methods of working
Advanced data handling; and presentation skills
Experience working within in a similar analytical role, preferably within Financial Services
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with Alteryx
Experience with predictive modelling
Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations
Familiar with Refinitiv or LSEG processes and products
Experience working with executives and / or C-Suite individuals
Experience working with a global team
Background in Analytics and/or Program Management
Direct management experience
