Job Description : The Bio Sciences Division (BID) of Thermo Fisher is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing Operations who will be responsible for leading our divisional digital marketing execution teams within the Bangalore, India office location. This role will report to the Sr. Director, BID Digital Marketing and will be responsible for delivering on key objectives including:
Driving speed at scale: Manage cross team collaboration and establish local agency relationships to flex capacity across businesses
Leveraging shared infrastructure: Develop a regional talent framework and repeatable processes for digital marketing tactical execution through building local partnerships with IT, Human Resources, and Facilities partnerships
Training and development: Lead training programs across the region to upskill consistently across businesses using leading technologies to drive digital domain knowledge through shared training and standardized best practices
Talent development and retention: Implement best practices to support career development and employee retention within the Digital Marketing Operations team
The successful candidate must be able to work with a global, cross-functional team and operate in a highly matrixed fashion with divisional partners skillfully solving for unique and complex requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of building alignment with multiple teams, strong people management abilities, a proven ability to develop and execute targeted business objectives, a strong knowledge of digital marketing concepts, and an extensive understanding of the digital marketing technology landscape. This is a highly collaborative, communicative role that must manage internal stakeholder’s expectations to support their digital marketing resourcing needs and requires the ability to lead several complex projects simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support execution of digital marketing campaigns across various digital channels like email, web, paid search, programmatic display and social media.
Partner closely with the Director of Corporate Digital Marketing Operations to identify potential opportunities to scale across divisions and functions
Utilize a consultative approach with Corporate leadership to plan, implement and sustain a Digital Marketing resourcing strategy to meet BID’s business priorities.
Establish and manage agency relationships enabling teams with flexibility to scale up and down as needed
Ensure consistent recruitment, onboarding, and training through establishing alignment with key partners such as Human Resource and Talent Acquisition Teams
Partner with local teams such as facilities to ensure cross-divisional teams are co-located and gaining benefits from collaboration space
Work with finance team and lead divisional partners through financial staffing expectations during annual / ongoing budget planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related area.
Master’s degree is a plus
10+ years’ progressively advanced experience in a diverse digital marketing operational role(s)
5+ years’ experience in marketing and operations leadership role managing teams of 20+ employees
Fluency in English required
Demonstrated experience creating digital marketing strategies and bringing them to execution
Empathetic and inspirational leader who has a track record of motivating and retaining early talent
Hands on-experience leading resourcing strategies with senior stakeholders
Skilled communicator and collaborator who can also serve as a confident advocate
Operational expert and innovative problem solver with a passion to drive initiatives forward
Proven track record as an operationally minded self-starter with ability to organize, prioritize and execute multiple projects across various teams simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to think strategically and use business case analysis regarding digital marketing resourcing projects, applications, and technologies
Laser-focused on internal stakeholders and results-oriented, with a history of building credibility across all levels of the organization
