Job Responsibilities:
Heading the financial planning & analysis function. Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process. Analysing actuals against budget/ forecast and prior year. Supporting decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance. Responsible for financial planning, tax planning, budgeting, reporting, developing pricing models, developing business metrices & monitoring key financial & business KPI’s
Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process
Analysing actuals against budget/ forecast and prior year
Supporting decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance
Leading and delivering on Digital Finance transformation by identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining processes
Performing adhoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making
Build various funding scenarios & investment models
Support M&A activity
Working with potential investors for providing performance data,due diligence etc.
Assisting in special projects, business presentations
Assisting in audit & working closely with Controller & Auditors
Provide back up in the absence of a Controller
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance from a premier Institute.
Prior experience in a similar role or one down to FP&A head , preferably in a Saas company, IT Services , startups from Fintech, Edutech or Health tech.
Possess strong experience in working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve organization financial performance.
Excellent analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel , Power point & MS Office
Degree in law or Company Secretary will be an added advantage
