Global Delivery Services (GDS) Operations Management CoE provides operational and decision-making support to the Business Development leadership and to various Global Markets functions.
Our diverse teams specialize in coordinating Business Development (BD) activities, supporting Go-to-Market projects and providing operational support to the Markets organization. The team is spread across multiple locations around the globe.
Job Summary
As part of the Operations Management CoE, you would have to handle multiple responsibilities like Reporting & Analysis, project coordination, stakeholder management, etc. The role requires a comparable work experience, strong excel and visualization skills, work ethic and attention to detail for as the team has a high focus on accuracy and timeliness.
The purpose of this job is to prepare financial reports and study financial results, cost analysis and budgets. Study transactions to conclude root causes, variances and suggest corrections to management. Design and create complex reports to user specifications. The position will ideally have to handle more complex issues and special projects than a junior financial analyst.
The role also requires effective communication skills, including communication over emails and MS Teams, aiming to support the business and its leaders and to work in close conjunction with the Markets Finance team in Bangalore and share leading practices.
Essential Function of the JobMeeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) on Turn Around Time (TAT) & accuracyInteracting with clients on a regular basisReview and delivery of high-level reports to Leadership on a monthly /Ad-hoc basisUnderstanding client’s requirementsProviding effective solutionsEffective escalation management skillsEnsure to complete the daily, weekly and monthly check listDevelop back up plan and focus on cross training the teamIdentify and implement process improvement ideasTraining new hiresProvide value add to reports and information to clientsTrouble Shooting and query managementCreation and maintenance of process documents on a regular basis Manage the monthly or weekly or scheduled and ad-hoc reports delivery for Reporting teamPreparing dashboards for the internal/external stakeholdersRoot cause analysis of issuesEnsuring adequate internal control procedures are in placeEffective people managementConduct career development conversation with team members on periodic basisRegular client connectsDriving exceptional client servicePerform regular analysis on all productivity metrics and recommend improvementsCreate and develop an environment to help and motivate the team members to optimize their performance and professional growthMentor team members and provide direction/ guidance to them

To qualify for the role, you must have8 to 10 years work experience in financial services industry having exposure to operations management and reporting and analysisB.Com or BBM (with finance and accounts as subjects). MBA or CWA Inter or CA Inter or M.Com is good to haveExperience in Project coordination – Capable of engaging in effectively multiple stakeholders, understanding the objectives of their programs and initiativesExcellent Reporting and Analytical skills – Previous experience and proven ability to read, understand and sanitize the data, build reports or dashboards and provide insights from the data, capable of identifying probable areas
of automation and implementing them
MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting & PowerPoint- Process automation skills using Excel VBAStrong knowledge on data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etcProcess improvement – Identify opportunities to optimize the process for quicker TATs, better quality, more insights, etcPresentation and facilitation skills – Ability to drive meetings, build presentations that interpret the data, creating valuable business insights and delivering the message to the stakeholdersExperience working with Business leadersExperience doing secondary research using Google and other external sources like Factiva, Company Inforgator, BoardEx, OneSource etc
