Functional Description:
BU FP&A teams lead the Financial Planning and Results Analysis function for Business Units in close partnership with the market LFOs. The teams are responsible for providing analytical insights in tracking and reporting of P&L metrics and financials to stakeholders.

Purpose of the role:
Execute and enhance results analysis, planning and forecasting to drive enterprise value in decision support

Responsibilities:
Complete understanding & driving Management Reporting process at Segment/ Regional/ Market/ LOB level – GNS
Manage month-end reporting and analysis processes ensuring integrity of the P&L through close control activities by maintaining high accuracy and productivity standards
Bring in useful insights to support better business performance, key trends, and its impact on future performance
Support the Annual Plan and ongoing Risks & Opportunities assessments
Drive process transformation through innovation and automation mindset
Collaborate with multiple internal teams to drive optimal output and deliver efficient reporting capabilities through best-in-class Analytics and Reporting solutions
Ensure controls & compliance with prevailing policies & procedures
Develop content and analysis for presentation to senior leaders across business and finance
Stakeholder relationship management
Ability to work across multiple time zones

Accurately deliver on BU P&L and statistical reporting, variance analysis and financial plans
Pro-actively develop meaningful data insights, trends to enable finance decision support to our business partners that will ensure effective BU planning, forecasting & investment decisions

Past Experience:
2-5 years of experience in results analysis, financial planning and forecasting
Fin-tech background preferred

Academic Background: Chartered Accountant / MBA from reputed institute with working knowledge of Cornerstone, Tableau
Functional skills:
Strong understanding of AXP Segment, LOB, and P&L structure
Knowledge of card business model & economics
Reporting and analysis experience will be a distinct advantage
Excellent analytical skills, with experience of managing large data set leveraging Cornerstone & Tableau
Technical skills/Knowledge of platforms:
Must be very proficient in using MS Excel (advance level) and TM1
Ability to use platforms and tools such as Tableau, Oracle Smart View and Cornerstone would be highly preferred

Ability to handle high pressure environment with aggressive deadlines while balancing long term / short term impacts and multiple priorities and customers
Be flexible to operate in different time zones
