Job Description : Finance and Accounting Process works on accounting processes from regions including America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Key responsibilities
a) Perform Bank Account reconciliation and posting.
b) Follow-up on open items in bank account reconciliation
c) Perform Cash sweeps/remittances/fund transfers in liner/agency books
d) Monitoring and controlling of bank accounts reconciliation of countries/liner.
e) Monitoring and Performing Country Liquidity and Treasury related task.
f) Process performance based specific internal reporting (Control Dashboard elements, etc)
g) General management reporting & other adhoc reporting
h) Perform other general accounting activities – Adhoc postings, etc.
i) Co-ordinate/communicate/provoke location to provide necessary information required for reconciliation/clearing of pending lines/issues faced during reconciliation
j) Able to perform bank activities: PO/PI creation, Balance Matching, Day end, external bank statement posting, IHB statement posting, 145/245 reconciliation, Technical accounts clearing, IHB interest rates calculation & posting
k) Able to explain valid reasons on open items in bank reconciliation & resolutions sorted out for those in respect to validate Liner Trial Balance sign off
l) Clear on IHB/IHC concepts & is aware of end to end process at considerable level
m) Ensure updated knowledge on APMM accounting principles, Finance manager’s manual, local accounting as applicable
n) Able to assist other team members in resolving issues.
We are looking for
a) Graduate in Commerce
b) At least 3-5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting processes
c) Sound knowledge in accounting & reporting tasks
d) Computer literate (Windows) & Strong MS Excel skills
e) Good communication skills (English) – Fluent Oral & Written
f) Analytical & Problem Solving ability for trouble shooting
g) Update on all new developments within the process & local GAAP
h) Prior experience in ERP systems
