Job Description : About the Role
This position is within Asset Management area under CMT for their Service Desk team supporting Suite of Applications for Asset Management.
As part of this team, you will be responsible to monitor and manage application to ensure application availability and stability, coordinate with various Business, Platform and vendor teams, and work on User Tickets adhering to the Service Level Agreements.

This role is for an individual contributor who will be responsible to support the application – Attain excellent application knowledge in very short span of time
Technical and Functional
Work on User Tickets, perform Application Health Checks, status reporting, work on User Requests, Improvement/Automation and other BAU responsibilities and also contribute to Automation efforts
In addition, collaborate and follow up with Development teams and other Technology Partner teams to restore application from an outage (Incident Management) and perform Root Cause Analysis (Problem Management). Develops and analyzes complex autosys batches, Understand critical SLA and provide recommendations to minimize failures

Team works in 2 shifts between 05:30 AM to 10:30 PM IST and provides weekend support on rotational basis.

Provide Technical Leadership to team and Mentor Team MembersDevelop excellent application and functional knowledge in short span of timeEffectively resolve User support tickets and communicate the progressDrive Incident and Problem Management PracticesDo effective and in detail RCA and work towards issue closureCode deep dive and data analysisImplement Best Practices for Process improvementsIdentify automation opportunities and implement them in production environmentMonitor the application and contribute towards monitoring improvements, application health checks, alert management, post release checks and validation, Weekend On call responsibility, Build effective documentationIdentify efficiencies and realize them with process improvements, automation, collaboration with Dev and Operations teams

Essential Qualifications
University degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Technology.Hands on experience of 7+ years in Production SupportHands on experience of 7+ years in Oracle/ Unix or any other DatabaseSelf-starter with good verbal and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills.
