Job Description : Job Summary
Powers Gymnastics is seeking a Junior Recruiter to acquire new talent for our rapidly growing company. We are looking for a detailed-oriented and resourceful professional who can keep pace with current growth. To accomplish this, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and screening potential employees for coaching positions. The successful candidate will have a keen eye when reviewing resumes and conducting interviews. If you’re sharp, driven to excel and goal-oriented, we would like to speak with you about this opportunity.
Depending on experience this position will receive a base salary of $75k and does include an excellent benefits package.
Job Responsibilities
Consults with the hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s)
Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
Maintains job posting and advertising processes.
Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields
Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions
Develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process
Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds
Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process
Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful
Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Handle administrative duties and recordkeeping
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for fast pace recruiting
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
Education and Experience
2+ years working in recruiting and/or human resources with full-cycle recruiting responsibilities; This could be a great role for someone looking to transition out of agency recruitment!
Bachelor’s degree required
Must have demonstrated experience with sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing
Experience in HRIS, Payroll, and other applicable database programs helpful
