Job Description : Your field of responsibility
GL Account Ownership (GLAO):
Completion of the monthly maintenance of the ownership information in the GLAO database and ensure the correct allocations are applied to the monthly sign off by users
Ensure that all controls have been completed prior to the monthly sign off and identify areas of weakness, escalating where appropriate e.g. approve new accounts, departments and the corresponding owners as per global policy
Ensure that the monthly sign off process is completed to schedule and that all users understand their responsibilities
Review and assessment of Monthly GLAO breaks
Completion of metrics reports on sign-off results
Completion of the monthly reporting packs, co-ordinate the return of changes from the business and ensure that these are accurately reflected in the monthly reporting
Participate in global and/or regional initiatives around GLAO e.g. system enhancements, ownership reviews
Ensuring that correct Reconciliation Standards are applicable to PSFT accounts.
Ensure adherence of GLAO policy

The main objective of the GF Operational Risk and Control (GF ORC) Compliance team is to identify; measure and manage the operational risks within CFO functions through key CS Group level programs such as Global SOX 404, General Ledger Account Ownership (GLAO) and Regulatory reporting Programs. In order to ensure the control environment is operating effectively, the team is also responsible for carrying out planned and ad-hoc Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs) across Group Finance and certain support departments.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Required skills:
Graduate/Post graduate
3-4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge & experience of SOX requirements / Accounting / Audit experience
Exposure to Financial services industry
Outstanding analytical and written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Outstanding problem solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a complex environment
Ability to learn and apply learning quickly
Excellent team-player and time management skills– organizing and prioritizing work
Ability to work to strict reporting deadlines
Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives

Investment Banking industry knowledge
Work experience / background
Prior Financial Services Industry experience desired but not required
