Job Description : For an established organization that has been delivering innovative core banking software to international financial institutions for over 35 years.The Product Manager will report directly to the CEO and is responsible for managing the company’s flagship product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. This role also works with sales, marketing and support ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.The selected candidate will be responsible for business case development, market research, development of product marketing strategies, advertising, promotion, and strategies associated with new and existing products(s). Responsible for managing and guiding a backlog of enhancement requests plus industry driven requirements. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, the drive to make that vision a reality, and a genuine passion for the product.Must be able to communicate across the organization. You will work with engineering counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.Applicants should be able to travel and have a valid drivers license as client visits will be required.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES· Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new and innovative ideas that grow market share, and drive growth· Define the product strategy and roadmap· Identify product market opportunities through market research, customer profiling, competitive intelligence/analysis, needs analysis and market sizing· Serve as the key contact for product questions and new product ideas from customers, sales, or market research· Identify opportunities in our platform and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth· Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape new platform features and improvements· Scope and prioritize activities based on business outcomes and customer impact· Work very closely with engineering teams to optimize value, ensuring delivery of the right product(s) at the right time· Manage order backlog to achieve goals· Create buy-in for product vision both internally and with key external partners· Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps· Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision· Translate product strategy into recommendations and feature definition to address market opportunities· Provide overall direction for product enhancements and general product development requirements· Work with product marketing department to develop effective communication activities and programs including product positioning and collateral development· Lead product focus groups, user sessions and engage in general industry topics· Develop thorough, industry best practice documentation (internal and external) describing enhancements as appropriate· Leverage continuous improvement approaches enabling Product Management to remain highly effective and efficientQUALIFICATIONS· University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with good academic standing· Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies· Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization· Experience as a thought leader driving out and/or maturing organizational capabilities· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Familiarity with agile development methodologies· 5 or more years of relevant financial services software experience (support, etc.)· 5 or more years of Financial Industry experience with varied roles· 5 or more years experience with a core banking system· Experience working with project management software application analysis, design or implementation (knowledge of project management principles)· Proven track record of product management accomplishments and initiatives with demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of marketing strategies· Excellent presentation and teamwork skills· Experience in a fast-paced Agile software development environment· Solid budget and financial analysis skills· Demonstrated interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiating, collaborating and consulting· Vibrant and energetic with excellent verbal and written communication skillsWHAT WE OFFER· Healthy culture, Awesome team, Deep/rich industry experience, skills and knowledge· Ability to learn, grow and achieve career objectives· Hybrid work remote employer (full to partial options)· 72% Employee NPS score – GREAT place to workJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From $80,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus payBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsExtended health carePaid time offWork from homeSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:We are a work remote employer.
