Based in Toronto, Ontario. This role is currently performed remotely.
The Role:

The QA Analyst is an integral member of the Quality Assurance team and is responsible for testing Mavencare’s web and mobile applications to ensure proper functionality while adhering to defined project timelines. Through the use of a variety of tools, the QA Analyst works to continuously improve software products and applications. This role involves writing and executing test cases, logging defects, and investigating issues. The QA Analyst is involved “hands-on” with the development team, ensures that all testing is thoroughly completed and that the software functions with the highest standard of quality possible. Simply put, this role finds the “bugs” and documents the steps to reproduce them.
QA Analyst responsibilities include:

Execute test cases within the agreed upon timelines ensuring the application is performing as expected.
Document bugs that are encountered and the steps to reproduce the issue.
Develop and maintain test cases under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Lead.
Actively participate in continuous quality improvements for the product.
Analyze test results, investigate, report, and track product issues, thereby improving overall quality.
Communicate status and results of bug fixes.
Provide ongoing support to the continuous improvement process of the QA lifecycle.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, exploratory, and regression testing.
What you bring:

A minimum of 3 years experience in a QA role with software testing environments for web-based or mobile applications.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance methods and testing principles.
Experience developing and maintaining test cases.
Strong experience in functional, integration, ad hoc and exploratory testing methodologies.
Attention to detail, tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn the product.
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
An ability to learn, adapt and grow in response to challenges within the healthcare industry.
