Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Prefab Quality Manager to join an innovative international construction company creating beautiful, sustainable, and high-quality homes using advanced materials, patented 3D printing technology, and robotic automation.The job position involves relocation to Oakland with business trips up to 30-40% of time.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) for MAP processes that integrates policies, methods to inspect, test, and validate incoming material, design practices, product and production processesImplement procedures and managing QC processes across the organization including incoming and outgoing inspections and QC in process, establish data driven methods and tools to evaluate cost of poor quality (COPQ)Track and monitor the production flow throughout the manufacturing process from the facility to site installation, to guarantee the highest quality productSupport MAP operations regarding quality and safety based processes, procedures or projects including quality inspections and auditsPerform root cause and statistical analysis against audit finding items discovered during quality control, inspection, and test procedures. Develop reports highlighting cause, formulates quality improvement strategies and implements solutionsUse statistical tools and techniques to conduct work/method studies in order to provide improvement based recommendations to the teamMaintain a strong independent but collaborative role as it relates to compliance-related decisionsDevelop and / or identify training programs to align with quality programs and processesRequirementsExperience: 3 to 6 Years of relevant work experienceBachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline highly preferredExperience in quality standards and processes to follow internal audits, federal, state, and local regulationsAbility to effectively interact with diverse skills and positions in the company and out – from the individual employee to senior managementNice-to-HavesWorking knowledge and/or experience with Agile/Scrum highly desirableOther Education / Certifications: LEAN, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, ASQ CertificationJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
