Process Overview*
The FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. Global TI Procurement is a part of the overall FAKC organisation within GBS Enterprise function and is responsible for the management and oversight of the Third Party (TP) Program at Bank of America. Global Procurement organization is responsible for sourcing, global purchasing, category procurement strategies, operations, and the establishment of a third party oversight and governance framework for Bank of America.
TI Procurement process provides Procurement, Invoicing & Reporting support to the Technology Infrastructure (TI) group for all technology related products globally. These services are procured as per the Bank’s standard and Expense policy wherein forecasting, capitalization of assets are being recorded. It involves working with lines of business, suppliers and Supply Chain Management to understand their business & procurement need and accordingly execute by following the Payment compliance model.
Job Description*
The process involves working with the Business Partners & vendors and assisting in their Purchases by creating & Managing Requisitions in Ariba. This includes receiving Vendor quotes, interacting with Business Partners, understand their requirements, create Purchase requisitions within the compliance and follow policies. The objective is to ensure purchases are done as per the business requirements & well on time. These Orders could be for capital expense or/and Consumable goods, hence knowledge of different type of purchasing is mandate. Candidate should aware of Ariba which is used as platform for purchase order and invoice submission.
Responsibilities*
1. Must aware of purchasing methodology in Ariba and various types of POs.
2. The role involves creation of POs and validation of vendor invoices with the purchase order and clear the exceptions basis the stipulated guidelines
3. Business Analytics Skills
4. Provide daily/weekly/monthly status to Line of Business on all type of orders
5. High level skills for process reporting, excellent knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
6. Be vigilant of the Forecasted VS. Actual performance
7. Excelling verbal & written communication skills
8. Domain knowledge of Ariba & E2E cycle of all types of invoicing
9. Ability to react well under pressure and treat others with respect.

Certifications If Any
Any certification on Procurement, Procurement applications e.g. Ariba, GEP, Oracle, SAP, Risk and Compliance, Tableau will be an added advantage

Work Timings*
11:30 AM to 8:30 PM (IST), initially candidate may have to work in night shifts to coordinate with the business. The shift may change as per requirement, so flexibility is the key to accommodate the requirement
