The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) group is responsible for Agile, Architecture, Services and Product Development, as well as training and processes to enable the Wells Fargo Technology organization and the company to achieve this transformation.

Role Overview

SIPM Organization enables development and maintenance of products to enable the Technology organization to achieve transformation. The function is positioned to build, engineer and evangelize SIPM products for the Enterprise. This is a techno managerial role and the candidate should have a proven track-record of partnering with internal customers, architects, engineers and other technical partners to gather requirements, understand existing systems and develop value-added products/services on Microsoft technologies

Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes

Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in Microsoft Technologies – Strong .NET background in .NET CORE, C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web Forms
10+ years of strong experience in MVC, WEB API, JavaScript, Angular, CSS, POSTMAN.
10+ years of Hands-on experience in designing/architecting and developing engineering products on Microsoft development and deployment suite
10+ years of people management experience (at least 20+ team members)
Experienced and well versed in Agile and Waterfall project management practices, Good exposure to tools like JIRA for lifecycle management
Extensive experience in Web Application development using C#.NET CORE, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server.
Good understanding of OOPS methodology.
Experience designing and implementing APIs, including deep understanding of REST, SOAP, HTTP etc.
Hands on experience on TFS (Team Foundation Server), GIT HUB
Provide ‘Thought leadership’ – Tools/Methodologies, White papers, representation in industry forums & market intelligence on products and processes
Strong understanding and experience in SSIS, SSRS
Experience in cloud technologies – Especially on Azure products and services – Experience of migrating applications to Azure cloud services
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate should be ‘hands on’ with development, design and implementation for Microsoft technologies- experience in Microsoft Technologies – Strong .NET development experience in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET CORE, C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web Forms
Strong experience in MVC, WEB API, JavaScript, Angular, CSS, POSTMAN
Good understanding of OOPS methodology
Design and execute strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining engineering platforms, Hybrid frameworks that incorporate Microsoft tools and products
Strong Technical Leadership & Engineering solution development- Provide expertise, direction, and assistance to junior engineers and inputs towards strategy & development processes
Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and in-sprint strategy for Agile
Extensive experience with MSBI tools – SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
Hands on experience on TFS (Team Foundation Server), GIT HUB
Experience of Tableau reporting development and visualization techniques
Experience of App cloud migration (GCP, Azure), Microservices, Containers (Docker & Kubernetes) and understanding of Azure development strategies and practices
Other Skills
Strong people management experience – Should have proven ability and experience of directly managing a engineers in a development team with formal line of accountability (at least 20+ team members)
Technology Mentoring to meet the overall Efficiency & Effectiveness objectives of the organization – This includes coaching and providing technical design and architecture guidance for initiatives
Plan, Consult, negotiate and manage deliverables of the business & technology requirements
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
Coach and guide the team to follow the processes, and ensure code quality & compliance
Teach the team lean development practices such GitHub branching, source code repository, SDLC practices, JIRA practices including peer reviews and deployment monitoring
Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and improvements for greater efficiencies.
