Job Description : The Opportunity
The Human Resource Department seeks an incumbent for the position of Training and Development Consultant to work as a Human Resources Business Partner with Academic and Administrative leaders to meet their strategic human resource needs and deliver a high level of professional Recruitment and Learning services to the ZU community.
Ensures the delivery of effective human resource policies, practices and programs of a multidisciplinary range including: training & development; coaching, mentoring and employee relations.

The Responsibilities
Under the direction of the organizational development and training manager, will work as part of a team of professionals, delivering Training and Development Consultancy to the institutions employees as well as resourcing services to a designated client group/portfolio across both ZU campuses.
A key emphasis of the position is to facilitate, recommend and organize training programs. The emphasis as well is to review and enhance the current Training need process, services and programs, introduce market best practices for Training and Development, and introducing new initiatives. Other key highlights are:

Training and Development
Assesses, designs and delivers training and development programs identifying opportunities for partnering with key stakeholders to support the University’s strategic objectives.
Preparing and organizing Training Courses to develop employee’s performance and productivity based on the University’s Strategy.
Consults with external providers to source appropriate and cost-effective programs.
Evaluates the efficacy of T&D initiatives through focus groups, surveys or other methods.
Evaluates training & development needs of client group making recommendations to the Manager for new or changed initiatives.
Analysis the Training Needs Analysis for concerned Staff and communicate accordingly with them to provide their training needs.
The Requirements
Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Human Resource Management and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Training at a Professional level, or equivalent combination of experience, education and skills.
Other essential requirements:
Fluency in English with exceptional Business writing skills
Ability to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai
Desired or preferred requirements:
Professional Certification in Human Resources
Fluency in Arabic
Experience working in a Higher Education Academic Environment
