Opportunity for further development and progression.
Outstanding opportunity for experienced ACA/ACCA Qualified Group Financial Accountant to join a £500m+ UK Market Leader, operating in the Business Services Sector. In a hybrid role – split 3 days office / 2 days home, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller with a remit including:
Planning & preparation of all annual subsidiary statutory accounts
Supporting the preparation of the Group annual report and financial statements
Day-to-day engagement management of the external audit
Planning and timing of statutory accounts audit work
Assisting with the preparation of the month end flash reporting
Group consolidation
Cashflow reporting
Providing high level concise commentary and analysis of results
Providing support to the Management Accounting and FP&A teams on technical matters
Responsible for the collation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations for purchase ledger, credit control and the non-trading group companies
Assisting with the planning and delivery of the Corporation tax year end process with the external tax team
Support with ad-hoc financial reporting developments / projects / M&A, as and when required
Management of a small finance team
Applicants should be fully qualified ACA or ACCA with relevant experience gained within a similar Financial Reporting role for a large group or practice. You will have had previous responsibility for preparing statutory accounts, will have experience of preparing consolidations and cashflows and will have IFRS & FRS102 knowledge. A salary to £58k is complimented with benefits including 5% Pension, Healthcare, 24 days holiday, Hybrid working (could be 100% home-based), flexi-time and a broad and impressive company benefits suite.
