Location combined with beautiful décor and good value offers will make it prime to become the hub for creative, aesthetic driven, savvy millennials.The luxury of Mayfair, the atmosphere of Soho and the creativity of Camden. 1989 is the future of Camden, Westminster and Islington, inspired by the great bars of London’s past.Retro, chic and fun.The RolePartnering with parties in the business with the aim of maximizing profitabilityOversee month end process; ensuring accuracy and that deadlines are metMonthly and quarterly forecastingAnnual budget setting for the businessPreparation annual statutory accounts for audit and tax reportingManaging Group cash flowEnsuring monthly payroll, pensions and benefit data is accurate and on timeEnsuring legal and GDPR compliance in commercial contractsPartnering with management team on financial and non-financial mattersCompletion of ad-hoc requests from Director and management teaManage day to day finance function, overseeing bookkeeping, payables, and receivables.Preparation of management accounts, KPIs, forecasts and budgets, liaising with budget holdersReview systems and processes, and implement new software and improved reportingSkills, experience and qualifications requiredQualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)Proficient on Paprika, Excel, Word, PowerPointFull understanding of entire finance function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Management Accounts and Financial AccountsExperience partnering with stakeholdersProactive and adaptive to a fast changing environmentExcellent attention to detailAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to work as part of a teamSelf-motivatedJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Quarterly bonusYearly bonusBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionDiscounted or free foodEmployee discountWellness programmesSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Financial accounting: 2 years (preferred)
