Job Description : BURTON SWEET LTDCHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS & BUSINESS ADVISERSSHEPTON MALLETACCOUNTS SEMI-SENIOR / SENIORReporting to Senior Manager Small Business & TaxOUR VISIONTo be a leading independent provider of business services in the South WestTo be seen as ‘more than Chartered Accounts’To provide a positive, challenging and rewarding environment.PERSONWill be a self motivated and positive individual with a passion for quality and excellence in service delivery and an attention to detail with associated skills for communication and working as part of a team.Offering a full time or part time role.Flexible working hours with some working from homePossibility of study supportThe role includes: Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.Preparation of corporation tax computationsKnowledge/preparation of self assessment tax returnsManagement Accounts preparationClient meetings, communicating with clients, and dealing with queries.Use of accounts preparation software and bookkeeping and payroll packages including Sage, Xero and QuickBooks online.Workflow supportAssisting junior team as requiredSpecific skills required: AAT qualified or equivalent experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounts packagesProfessional Training: The role may require successful completion of professional examinations and continuing study to improve and maintain professional education at the same time as the practical work requirement. All initial attempts at professional papers are fully funded and paid study leave provided to facilitate successful technical development.Ongoing CPD is funded by the practice.The above listing is not exhaustive or exclusive.
