Job Description : Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Senior/ Client Manager opportunity on behalf of a forward thinking firm of chartered accountants in Bolton.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ ACCA qualified, (part qualified or AAT Qualified also considered) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in practice and will have a good working knowledge of FRS 102 reporting standards.

The successful individual will be responsible for the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, review of VAT returns & bookkeeping and tax compliance for clients from an array of sectors and will have the option of working from home.

The role will be varied and also involve training clients on accountancy software, dealing with queries, mentoring junior staff and liaising with HMRC.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Streamlining clients business/ accounting processes
Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Supporting the Partners
Dealing with ad hoc client/ HMRC queries

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified (ideally)
Part Qualified/ AAT Qualified/ QBE also considered
Practice experience is essential
