• Will consider candidates with notice period of less than 30 days or lesser but will look for immediate joiners. Please highlight the notice period on top of every resume.

• Candidate will either work from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm IST or 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm IST.

PROJECT:
Northern Trust focus is on technology for the year 2021 where in we want to update our skills and tools to current technologies. As an organization we are looking forward to create and migrate Private Cloud Infrastructure. We are looking for Cloud Engineers who will introduce new technology while working with operations, support team and the Application Development Team.
Job responsibilities:
• Day to day, this person will work within an Agile Application Development team on our Private Cloud Infrastructure developing self-service infrastructure provisioning services using our VMWare Cloud Services, Ansible, and other cloud scripting technologies.
• A successful candidate will be able to work within an Agile team to take on a variety of stories to create cloud platform services and frameworks to build our Private Cloud platform.
• We are looking for someone who is excited to collaborate in a team, work with many different teams, and help drive our Private Cloud Strategy to meet business innovative objectives.
• Looking for overall 7 years of experience in Cloud automation with focus on infrastructure.
Primary Skills:
• Hands on experience with VMWare Cloud Services (Cloud Assembly, Codestream, ServiceBroker, VRO)
• Experience coding with Ansible and / or Terraform automation scripting languages
• Working with code management tooling such as Github or Gitlab
• Knowledge of application security and secure software development practices
• Hands-on technical experience in designing, building and securing Self-Service and Private Cloud Automation services
• Experience with assessment, implementation, optimization, and documentation of broad set of security technologies and processes such as data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management, systems security, network security within IaaS, PaaS environment
• We will not consider any resumes from Software background as the focus is on Infrastructure.
Domain Experience:
• Experience in configuration management across multi-cloud platforms
• Displaying skills in TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, packet analysis, etc.
• Understanding of network security design including segmentation, encryption, logging and monitoring
• Experience with sub-netting, software defined networking, and NSX Advanced Load Balancer a plus
Good to have skills:
• Knowledge of securing Kubernetes, Docker Containers, Server less environments
• Demonstrated knowledge of container technology (such as Docker), database technology (such as MySQL, MS-SQL, MongoDB, CockroachDB or Postgresql and development language (such as Java, Perl, PHP or Python)
• Knowledge/experience in Financial Services and FinTech is a plus
