Job Description : Your field of responsibility
The Global cash products business covers products such as FX, OTC Derivatives & Money Markets. The functions include Trade Validations, Settlements, Cash Management & Sanctions Handling.
This role relates to Sanctions Handling across all cash settlements within Credit Suisse.
Primary Responsibilities for the role would include but are not limited to the below:
Reviewing, checking and processing flagged SWIFT and SEPA messages on the Sanction Filter Platform
Managing the flagged messages and payments that require further investigation and monitoring those investigations as a part of the global Business Delivery Center
Monitoring: covers functionality in the context of false message detection (message with missing fields or specific risk rating), run exception processes and log hit handling activities
Responsibility for managing and organizing a daily business according to high standards and internal and external regulations
Working closely with banks and internal units (Compliance, relationship managers, affected specialist units)
Working in an environment with tight currency deadlines
Adhering to stringent controls & control checklists, follow escalation matrix etc.
Be sufficiently trained/cross-trained and be the SME of the business to handle business during any unforeseen situations
Applying their skills to drive-changes by partnering with other teams to implement new business initiatives
Managing inner team projects as well as cross-divisional ones

Your skills and experience
You are expected to possess the below:
In-depth knowledge of SWIFT payment messages, especially the MT 1xx & 2xx series
Exposure to / Experience in Sanctions Handling will be a benefit
Attention to detail, pro-activeness, outstanding communication skills, client & control-focused approach, positive attitude
It is essential for the candidate to be autonomous and handle challenging situations on own and work closely with the other team members to deliver quality results for the clients
Ability to multitask, prioritize, complete/review checklists and procedures whilst working on strict deadlines is an essential requirement
Proven ability to identify risk and control issues followed by timely & appropriate escalation
Willing to work in shifts, especially American time zones
3 to 6 years of experience in a financial institution
