Process Overview
Global Banking and Markets Technology group (GBAMT) provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Banking and Markets businesses including Treasury, Trade Finance, Credit, Payments, Transaction Banking, Equities Trading, Prime Brokerage, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. In addition, GBAMT also provides technology solutions across several horizontal functions including Sales, CRM, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client services for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.
GBAMT is engaged in over 800+ applications and across the complete spectrum of Application Development and Production Support. GBAMT’s type of work and services include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using a wide range of technologies. GBAMT India team is doing extensive work in several regulatory, strategic and initiatives programs. GBAMT has also established a strong partnership with the GBAM operations team in India to deliver automation and functional enhancements to the applications that they are using.
Job Description
Individual will be part of the sales technology team within Global Banking and Market Technology (GBAM) and will work on production support activities for around 2-5 applications. Primary responsibility would be to act promptly and resolve tickets within given SLA.
Responsibilities
Responsible to do a deep dive research, analysis, and resolution of issues
Monitor different jobs on regular basis
Resolve incidents/issues
Monitor events, and service requests
Identify and Log defects
Review and perform impact analysis
Requirements
Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory
Experience Range: 4 – 6 years
Foundational skills:
Experience in Unix/Linux operating systems
Experience in Shell scripting (sh/ksh/bash)
Experience in WAS/Weblogic/Appache Tomcat
Experience in J2EE technologies,Web Services (SOAP, XML)
Experience in JSP/Servlets/EJB/JavaScript/HTML/CSS/JSON/JQuery
Experience in Batch job environment
Experience in DB Oracle
Communication skills
Desired skills:
Banking domain
Work Timings: Rotational Shift (06:30 a.m. to 03:30 p.m. / 01:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). Weekend on call and Change support (Rotational)
