Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. As an experienced Android developer, you will be collaborating alongside user experience architects, designers and fellow developers, working together in a fast paced agile environment.Responsibilities· Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform· Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code· Maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code using Kotlin & Java· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.· Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.· Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement.· Collaborating with UX and visual designers, challenge when necessary and stand up for correctness.· Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.Skills· Strong commercial experience in Android mobile app development· Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Core Java, Android Studio.· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements· Experience in design patterns like MVP, MVVM.· Native and third-party frameworks/libraries such as Retrofit, navigation component, Dagger, LiveData, coroutines.· Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices· Strong experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON· Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket, Github· Familiar with mobile CI/CD processes and tools· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal· Demonstrated technical leadership in a team of application developersKotline and JAVA min 3 yrs expJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):Salary ExpectationNotice PeriodVisa Status/ Working RightsPersonal EmailExperience:Android Developer: 5 years (Preferred)
