DESIGNATION : App Development Architect, (Managerial Level) Technology

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are on the hunt for an experienced App Development Architect, Technology to come on board, rein in the stakeholders and drive the Agile methodology.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be leading the Technology Application Architecture, implementing Technology projects, and liaising with vendors and other stakeholders. Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the Technology architecture roadmap and responsible for project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity and consistency
Execute a range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal, to development, test and final delivery
Manage and plan the resources needed from user requirement, development of functional specification, testing and user training
Conduct timely project reviews to recommend any changes to project schedules, cost or resource requirements
Manage changes to project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans
Work with the project team to ensure that the requirements gathered are realistic and implementable
Maintain a good standard of commitment and team motivation to create a work environment that promotes productivity
Acts as interface between different stakeholders in the project, in order to ensurethat activities are aligned and implemented effectively
Provide regular update on progress of the project to the internal customer and management and to ensure all stakeholders are fully aware of project progress, tasks, action plan and deadlines.
Hold regular status update meeting with team

QUALIFICATIONS
Who we are looking for:

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant Computer Science discipline
Possess IT experience in application development with at least 5 years in related role with good people and project management skills
Proficient in Agile development and knowledge of Agile project management methodology
Strong Development Skills on Server-side with .Net Framework, .NET Core, Node.js
API Design Concepts and Development of RESTful Web Services
Exposure to GraphQL, Rest API, SOAP, and OData
Knowledge on ORM tools e.g., Entity Framework, Dapper, etc
Developed Web Applications using SPA (Web Frameworks) e.g., VueJs, or Angular
Designed Relational Databases using MS SQL Server, Mongo Db
Knowledge on Architecture Design Patterns e.g., Events-based Driven, Microservices, Clean Architecture
Experience on Message Queues Platforms e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ
Exposure to Source Control Management/Version Control (e.g., GitHub, etc)
Experience Architecting Applications in Cloud Technologies e.g., Microsoft Azure
Knowledge using DevOps Tools for CI/CD
Familiarity with Mobile Application Solution and Development
Experience with Tools and Best Practices for Secure Application Development
Experience working in client facing environment leading technical project teams
Execution-oriented, proven track record in executing projects
Possess strong analytical skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified IT Project Management (CITPM) is a plus
Think out-of-the-box when presented with challenges and constraints
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
Possesses excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
Enthusiasm to work in the Education industry
