YOUR ROLE
As part of multi-year transformation initiatives, we are looking for someone who is excited and motivated to learn new technologies and enjoys exploring creative ideas for problem resolution. The ideal associate would have experience working in the .Net Framework with experience in service development (SOAP/REST) and a willingness to try new and unfamiliar ways to achieve business goals, collaborate and communicate across multiple Business/IT channels, and have the capability to be flexible with daily changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
o Serve as Application Developer supporting Long Term Care Claims technology Operations team by designing, developing, supporting scalable workflow applications used in LTC Claims Operations
o Develop/Update/Maintain services across different version of the .Net Framework inclusive of 4.5/.Net Core 3.1+/.Net 5
o Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement
o Maintain peer relationship with cross functional technology, solutions and users of application
o Collaborate with Business Analysts, Testers and business users to effectively prioritize development activities within resource constrains

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
o BS in computer science or equivalent certifications and experience
o 2-3 years’ experience working in the .Net framework (also familiarity with EF)
o 2-3 years’ experience working with RDBM’s (T-SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, etc…)
o Experience in web service development (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc)
o Familiar with design patterns includes but not limited to Data Driven Design/Development, Microservices, MVC with awareness of CI/CD (DevOps)
o Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles
o Able to quickly absorb, understand and resolve complicated technical issues
o Ability and experience in developing innovative approaches and solutions to solving design, architectural, and technical issues
o Intellectually Curious with a Continuous Process improvement mentality

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience in SDLC and Agile Project Methodologies
o Experience in LTC Insurance Domain
o Masters in computer science or equivalent certifications and experience
