Job Description : C#.NET Sr./ Jr. EngineerThe C#.Net Engineer brings passion to the development process and is responsible for the underlying architecture for software programs/systems by creating code along with working with other members of the development team (local and offshore) utilizing .NET Framework (C#, VB and .NET) with proficiencies in ASP .NET Core, MS SQL, Angular (Angular and Angular JS). The role covers task spanning the design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing and deployment in support of SaaS based and mobile applications.Duties /ResponsibilitiesPrimary Functions: Responsible for producing quality code utilizing .NET Framework (C#, VB and .NET) and proficient in ASP .NET Core, MS SQL, Angular (AngularJS and Angular); SignalR experience is a plusAble to handle all aspects of the application, including but not limited to performance, scalability, security and testing both locally and using AWSUtilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions applicable to the design, development, and unit testing of applications including the use of Visual Studio, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)Manages defect tracking system and works to resolve any issues/defects in the code for all applicationsEnhances existing systems by analyzing business objectives and preparing actions plans to support identified areas for modifications and improvementsParticipate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code and package, test and determine deployment strategies of all version releasesWork with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current technologies (ex. .Net/Angular) –develop, refine, and tune integrations between applicationsAnalyze and resolve technical and application problems while assessing opportunities for application and process improvementRecommends information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating the organization’s desired outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating relevant trends and anticipating obstacles to accomplish business requirementsDevelop and maintain all documentation related to coding and any implementation issues to keep all parties involvedAble to adhere to high-quality development and systems management principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budgetCoordination/Compliance Functions: Coordinates/consults with subject matter experts throughout the organization; helping to arrive at a consensus to determine application requirements and outcomes while translating those into effective coding that best supports the applications, processes, and targeted usersProvide support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (i.e., HIPAA and other Privacy Laws, PCI and/or Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.) verifying necessary protocols are integrated into all large-scale global enterprise applicationsHandle system changes for signature updates, patches and upgradesNon-Technical Functions: Self-starter with the ability to work under light supervision, passionate, ambitious self-starter with ability to show consistent progress throughout the project and/or tasks as outlined is paramount to the success of this positionAble to work well independently or in collaboration with team members with varied personalitiesAble to clearly communicate verbally and in written form – articulating complex thoughts and ideas in small or large group settingsExcellent interpersonal communication skills including telephone/video and email communications; ability to provide scope of project status, identify problem areas with next steps and additional needsSuperior attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlinesProvides superior customer service to internal and external customers, working patiently and effectively through each issue with confidenceNecessary Experience/Skillset:5+ years of design and/or development experience with .NET, C#, ASP .NET Core, Angular, Windows Forms and SQL, Server in an N-tier architecture (client-server architecture) conceptThorough understanding and ability to use Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance along with Agile methodologies for the creation of high-quality cost-effective products/applicationsStrong background in object-oriented development techniques, solution design patterns and best practices – Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server);
